bi-appling and staging to boost home sales

I can see it from my desk b/c things have been cleared away that had once blocked my view. bi-apple is sitting on the danish modern room divider i found at a sally for 40$. put it there, prominently displayed, as part of the home staging efforts around this join. home staging is where you make the home look really good to make it more appealing to buyers. we figured bi-apple, prominently displayed, might do the trick, whenever we had to show the house for our landlord.

it sounds as if you disagree with people being pissed about marcotte’s appropriate of the ideas of women of color. if so, why? i have to say that i found it appalling that she never cited any women of color in that article — when she acknowledged that she’d actually gotten the ideas from a speaker at a now conference, a woman of color, nina perales.
this is one of the reasons why i wouldn’t join up with kevin re: his blog, Taking Place. I didn’t want to be seen as appropriating or trying to be special white lady with the people of color love me ribbon pinned to her shirt. because, my voice would, unfortunately be the one other whites engaged with, while they ignored the men and women of color on the blog.
anyway, i’m tired and eyelids are drooping. call me!
