wow. just wow. what a fucking asshole. like she has, what?, a survey to back up this claim? i had that choice little quote archived in my posts to be posted list. i mean, *i* surely wouldn’t deny that there are problems with the privileging of class struggle in marxist analysis but that she has the balls to make such a statement while being completely unable to actually back up the claim is pretty sad. she makes a stupidly ahistorical comment about marx giving short shrift to race. *rolls eyes* i mean let’s compare what marx said to the other prominent white social theorists of his era, hmmm? for christ sakes, what ahistorical hogwash.

like i said, i *hardly* think marxists are paragons of virtue on this topic, but to make such a brash, unsubstantiated statement that completely lacks nuance just reveals that, like so many of these white privilege theorists their real issue is antithesis to marxist class analysis at all. so: fuck them.
