I read this:

http://offourpedestals.wordpress.com/2009/03/25/on-using-anti-oppression-rhetoric-to-maintain-yourself/

and then I headed of to the old queer dewd blog to find a post I’d written about Wendy Brown’s critique of identity politics, and another by Spivak. We were having a discussion about my “Pictures of Che” post at a discussion list to which I subscribe and I wanted to quote them on ID politics.

I’d forgotten this old comment which was, when I read it, the reason why I stopped blogging so much and withdrew from the bullshit:

For what it’s worth, I don’t like Bitch Lab, I don’t read her, I don’t think she’s very bright, and I think the main thing she piggybacked on recently was a comment thread to a post she didn’t author. Nice appropriation, that.

So: Don’t like Bitch Lab? Join the club, and don’t read her. Read the women she rips off instead. They’re better. http://ilykadamen.blogspot.com/2007/05/pseudocode.html

*snicker*

Damn. Wish I had time to write a custom blogskin and feature all these arrsum quotes like I used to.
